We take a Total Quality Management approach, combining ISO/TS 16949:2009 certification (TS 84042) with Six Sigma practices to assure you of superior design, manufacture, testing, and inspection of your electronic controls. Our Quality Assurance Manager and staff supervise all line processes and testing, and ongoing employee training at all levels ensures that every step of the manufacturing process is carried out with attention to quality.
Our commitment to register to a known worldwide standard began in 1997 with the ISO 9001 certification. We've held our ISO/TS 16949 distinction since 2004, which exhibits our commitment to continuous excellence. Many auto makers have their own supplemental requirements, and we meet those as well. Our ISO/TS 16949 philosophy does not begin or end at any one step of the electronic control manufacturing process: the requirements start at the first customer interaction, and from the RFQ process, to system design and analysis, to manufacturing, review, approval, and shipping, the comprehensive excellence of your control product is assured.
Etratech exacting quality standards do not end at our facility walls. Our Total Acquisition Management program, which enables smaller and mid-size manufacturers to enjoy the same benefits of volume and scale in material sourcing and offshore production as larger companies, employs a strict supplier rating system. Through facility and product inspections, we ensure that all each and every component that goes into an Etratech electronic control is up to par with our own rigorous testing. The Etratech name is equivalent to quality in our customers' minds, and these standards aim to keep that peace of mind.
